The Epworth Discretionary service for charities (DSC)
Ethics you believe in, investments you can trust.
DISCRETIONARY PORTFOLIOS, INVESTED FAITHFULLY
Charity trustees are responsible for fulfilling both the financial and philanthropic goals of their organisation. This can be challenging and requires careful balance.
As charity specialists, we work directly with trustees to understand each organisation’s individual requirements and objectives. We then use this information in tandem with our established investment process to construct a portfolio specifically designed to meet these needs.
“Epworth has managed our investment portfolio for over 10 years and throughout that time we have been very pleased with the return they have produced on our behalf.
The team understand we are not financially trained and take the time to explain the market situation and performance of our portfolio in a way which we can easily understand.
Any questions or queries we may have, are responded to quickly and professionally. The regular meetings we have with the team are very informative and the presentation packs provided are clear and free from jargon which helps our Trustees enormously.”

As part of the account opening process, we undertake a fact finding exercise to ensure we fully understand your investment goals and objectives. This allows us to construct a portfolio to meet your requirements. We will discuss this in detail with you before proceeding with the opening of the account, at which point we will provide the relevant paperwork for completion.
The minimum investment for the Discretionary Service for Charities is £250,000. If the value you have to invest is less than this, please contact us and we can discuss the options available to you.
We recommend that any organisation looking to invest funds should have a time horizon of at least three years, ideally five years or more. However, there is no minimum investment period for the Discretionary Service for Charities and withdrawals can be made from the portfolio at any time.
